China Medical University
China Medical University was established in 1931. It is located in the city of Shenyang, in the northeastern province of Liaoning. China Medical University (CMU) is an institution of higher learning under the direct administration of the Chinese Ministry of Education. China Medical University is usually ranked within the top 10-20 medical schools in China. It was established in 1931 as the China Medical School and was renamed China Medical University in 1993.
The university offers a six-year MBBS program, which is the
equivalent of a bachelor's degree in medicine. The program includes a one-year
internship. After graduation, students are eligible to take the national
medical licensing examination and practice medicine in China.
